Clear and competent instruction and teaching. Good pace to course – not rushed and very thorough despite the covid restrictions. Andrew is very patient and encouraging.
Enjoyable, didn’t make me feel foolish. Given me confidence. I would like a refresher in 6months/year.
Really enjoyed it. Very useful.
The training aids were simple but very effective.
Great course, clear, concise, content delivered in a variety of ways with revision.
As good as it could be with the covid restrictions.
Thank you. I feel I have gained further insights and understanding to various conditions of the body and how to respond. All this despite the limitations of the covid environment. Well done!
Excellent teaching skills, creative resources, good pace and making sure we understood things.
Better explanation of things and how the body works than on previous courses I’ve attended.
An excellent tutor with a good method of teaching.
Personally I found the physical props to explain certain things (food trapped in throat etc) really helpful in helping me understand or clear up things I’d previously been unsure of, so thank you for that. All round excellent.
Good class size, big enough for variety of answers but manageable size for each to demonstrate.
I enjoyed putting what we learned into practice when we went outside.
I enjoyed it all.
Andrew's knowledge is very comprehensive. I appreciated his explanations and the Learn-Zone on the website. I found the scenarios nerve racking but useful and important.
My assessor made this course very enjoyable. He made learning feel very fun. I would definitely recommend this course to others. I feel the assessor did an amazing job and has given me lots of confidence going forward using my first aid skills.
Considering we couldn't practice on each other, the trainer was helpful in acting out situations.
