Course Summary:
This course is ideal for coaches, leaders and guides who are involved in paddlesport or other water-based activities. Candidates successfully completing this course will be equipped to respond to a medical emergency or accident where water is an additional hazard.
Note: This course builds on from the Level 1 course that must have been completed 1 month prior to participating in the level 2 course. Most candidates chose to attend Level 1 and Level 2 courses on consecutive days.

Successful candidates will be awarded the Aquatic First Aid Level 2 certificate valid for 3 years.
ACCREDITATION
The award is certificated by British Canoeing Lifeguards.

Assessment method: Activities, test paper, practical assessment
Pre-requisite: Minimum age of 16. Completion of the Aquatic First Aid Level 1 Course in the previous 28 days.
