Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2)

Course Summary:

Candidates successfully completing this course will be entitled to act as a first aider in the workplace. This Emergency First Aid at Work course may be more suitable whereby a needs assessment has identified a low-risk work environment.
 

Note: The Emergency First Aid at Work course is unit 1 and day 1 of the First Aid at Work 3 day course

First Aid at Work (Level 3)

Duration: 3 Days (18 hours)

Course Summary
Candidates successfully completing this course will be entitled to act as a first-aider in the workplace. This First aid at Work course includes the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course and also equips the first-aider to apply first aid to an extensive range of specific injuries and illnesses

First Aid at Work - Requalification (Level 3)

Duration: 2 Days (12 hours)

 

Course Summary:

This First Aid at Work Requalification syllabus covers the same topics as those in the initial First Aid at Work course. However, the training and assessment face-to-face contact is only 12 hours (2 days).

Course Summary:

This course provides those who are successful with the necessary knowledge and skills to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) during a cardiac arrest event. The course follows the latest Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines.

Aquatic First Aid (Level 1)

Duration: 1 Days (6 hours)

Course Summary:
This course is ideal for coaches, leaders and guides who are involved in paddlesport or other water-based activities. Candidates successfully completing this course will be equipped to respond to a medical emergency or accident where water is an additional hazard.


Note: The skills learned on this course are also relevant to the home environment and workplace. The course is longer than an Emergency First Aid at Work course due to the extra training given to working in a paddlesport arena.

Course Summary:
This course is ideal for coaches, leaders and guides who are involved in paddlesport or other water-based activities. Candidates successfully completing this course will be equipped to respond to a medical emergency or accident where water is an additional hazard.


Note: This course builds on from the Level 1 course that must have been completed 1 month prior to participating in the level 2 course. Most candidates chose to attend Level 1 and Level 2 courses on consecutive days.
